The history of my pink dog(s) Dedee

I walked in to my parent’s bedroom aged twelve to discover two replicates of my childhood toy ‘Dedee’ that I had no clue existed. As an adult I can see so many contrasts between the three dogs, so I have recorded the different types of body part to compare the differences I was oblivious to as a child.

Obsolete, not

All my life I have watched the same TV, but this year our 25-year-old television died and was thrown out. I have spent so many years watching those components and never seeing them. I have reincarnated them in to a necklace so that now they have a simple function and can continue to be regarded in their own right.

Unphotography

If Photography is the process of recording light to create a photograph, then maybe ‘Unphotography’ is harnessing a different energy source to create an image. The camera and human eye cannot detect anything in the pitch-black, so I have used heat instead of light to produce these images. They were created on a black surface in a light proof room, so that absolutely no light was involved.
